Lucknow, Aug. 25 -- The Yogi Adityanath government on Tuesday approved a major expansion of Uttar Pradesh's expressway network, clearing the extension of the Ganga Expressway from Meerut to Haridwar and giving the go-ahead to the Jhansi Link Expressway project.
UP Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna said the proposed Ganga Expressway extension will cost approximately Rs 10,761 crore and is aimed at improving connectivity between western Uttar Pradesh and Haridwar.
