The BJP MLA on Monday tweeted," the latest NCRB figures are not just statistics-they are a grim warning for India's future. In 2024, a total of 14,488 students committed suicide in the country. This means that approximately 40 young people are giving up on life every day. The worrying fact is that the growth rate of student suicides over the past few years has been higher than the overall suicide rate in the country.
