Firozabad, May 10 -- As Uttar Pradesh widens its tourism portfolio beyond religious destinations and heritage circuits, the state is now building newer nature-based leisure destinations aimed at families, young travellers and weekend tourists.
In western Uttar Pradesh, the Rapdi Eco Tourism site in Firozabad is emerging as one such project, with on-ground development work picking up pace under a Rs 3.47-crore plan.
After the release of the first installment of Rs 2.60 crore, construction activity has accelerated at the site, where officials are developing a more recreation-driven eco park experience that differs from traditional wildlife destinations.
