Lucknow, Aug. 4 -- Uttar Pradesh Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana on Tuesday expelled Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Engineer Sachin Yadav from the House for the remainder of the Monsoon Session after he staged a protest inside the Assembly by displaying a photograph of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during the opposition's demonstration over the alleged theft of offerings at the Ram Temple.
The Speaker took the action after Yadav continued his protest despite repeated warnings from the Chair. The SP MLA was holding up a photograph of the Chief Minister and placards during the party's protest over the alleged theft of offerings at the Ram Temple.
