Hapur, Jan. 9 -- A tragic accident occurred in the municipal area when a young man lost his life while attempting to get down from a moving train.
The incident created panic at the spot and left the victim's family devastated, police said on Friday.
According to the Government Railway Police (GRP), the deceased has been identified as Himanshu, a resident of Shamli, who was employed with a private company in Ghaziabad. On Thursday night, he was returning from Ghaziabad to Pilkhuwa by a passenger train.
It is reported that when the train reached near Kanha Shyam Mandap House, its speed slowed down slightly.
