Badaun, March 31 -- A tragic road accident occurred on the Bareilly-Mathura Highway near Badaun, resulting in the deaths of two people and serious injuries to two others.
The incident took place early Tuesday morning when a speeding double-decker bus traveling from Jaipur to Bareilly collided head-on with a pickup vehicle carrying workers involved in a highway widening project.
The impact of the collision was severe, completely wrecking the pickup vehicle and causing a traffic jam on the highway. Police quickly arrived at the scene and cleared the damaged vehicles to restore traffic flow.
