Shahjahanpur/Farrukhabad, March 11 -- Three people died and two others were injured after a bus collided with a car on the Bisalpur-Baber National Highway in Shahjahanpur today.
The accident occurred near Sughsugi bridge in the Alhaganj area in the morning, when a Bareilly Depot bus, allegedly coming from the wrong side while overtaking, crashed into a car.
The deceased were identified as Arun, Sanjay and Rishabh, residents of Hyderabad in Lakhimpur Kheri. Two others, Gaurav and Anil, were injured in the crash.
According to police, the group had left early in the morning to travel to Farrukhabad where Arun planned to purchase a car. Sanjay was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident.
