Jaunpur, April 27 -- A tragic road accident occurred today morning in the Mungra Badshahpur police station area of Jaunpur district, leaving three people dead and three others seriously injured.
The incident took place around 6 AM on the Jaunpur-Rae Bareli highway near Sathariya, when a passenger auto-rickshaw was hit by a speeding truck. The collision was so severe that the auto was completely mangled and overturned into a roadside ditch.
According to reports, the auto-rickshaw was travelling from Machhlishahr to Mungra Badshahpur carrying several passengers.
