Jaunpur, March 26 -- The Special Task Force (STF) has uncovered a major racket involved in the alleged preparation and circulation of fake educational documents, leading to the arrest of two accused individuals, officials disclosed here today.

The arrested suspects have been identified as Shashi Prakash Rai, also known as Rajan Sharma alias Shani, and Manish Kumar Rai.

According to STF officials, a total of 217 forged documents were recovered from the accused, including fake mark sheets, certificates, registration papers, and migration certificates. In addition, authorities seized 42 counterfeit stamps, five CPUs, two pen drives, 14 mobile phones, 10 registers, and a UPI QR scanner.
