Bulandshahr, April 23 -- A tragic road accident claimed the life of an eight-year-old boy in Kirtarpur village of the Chhatari area today afternoon.
According to local sources, the child, identified as Umang, was returning home from a private school along with his friends after classes were dismissed around 1:30 PM. While walking on the road, a speeding tractor-trolley hit him, leaving him critically injured.
Villagers present at the scene immediately apprehended the driver along with the vehicle and informed the police. The injured child was rushed to the Danpur Primary Health Centre (PHC), where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
