Jaipur, Sept. 15 -- The Rajasthan State Election Commission on Tuesday issued notification for the election of Mayors and/ or Chairpersons in the 305 of the total 309 civic bodies that went to polls on September 9 and 11.
However, the electoral process for electing mayors/ deputy mayors or chairpersons/ deputy chairpersons has been deferred in the four civic bodies-- the Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kota municipal corporations and the Suket Municipal Committee in the Kota district -- due to withholding of the results for facilitating repolling at some booths.
