Lakhimpur Kheri, March 26 -- A leopard entered a house and fatally attacked a 7-year-old girl in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred in Sidhouna village under the Nighasan forest range. The victim, identified as Simran Kaur, was eating dinner with her sister in the courtyard of her home when the leopard suddenly entered and attacked her. Before the family could react, the animal dragged the child away toward nearby fields.
