Prayagraj, Oct. 18 -- Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya today claimed that the Samajwadi Party (SP) will be defeated in the 2026 Legislative Council and 2027 Assembly elections. "After this defeat, Akhilesh Yadav will accuse the party of misuse of Electronic Voting Machines and government and administration, but the people of the state will not allow the SP's hooliganism and mafiaism to return," he said while quipping that Akhilesh Yadav is day-dreaming of getting power in 2027 in UP.
