Chandauli, Feb. 16 -- In a major crackdown on narcotics-related organised crime, the police have temporarily frozen immovable properties worth approximately Rs 3.5 crore, allegedly acquired through illegal drug trafficking in Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh, officials said on Sunday.

The operation was jointly carried out by the Mughalsarai Police Station and the Crime Branch in Chandauli in connection with cases registered at the Mughalsarai Police Station under relevant sections of the BNS and the NDPS Act.
