Firozabad, June 15 -- : In a case of honor killing in the Vasai Mohammadpur area of the district, the father hacked to death his teenage daughter here last night.
Police here on Monday said that, distressed by his daughter's behavior, the father, concerned about his family's reputation, hacked her to death with an axe.
Her mother, who came to her rescue, was also seriously injured and is undergoing treatment in Agra. The accused has been arrested by the police.
According to the incident, Rakesh Rathore, a resident of Sofipur Neelkanth Colony in the Vasai Mohammadpur area of the police station, hacked his 19-year-old daughter, Muskan, to death with an axe. Her mother, Pushpa Devi, was also seriously injured while trying to save her.
