Lucknow, Oct. 27 -- Uttar Pradesh is set to undergo a comprehensive review of its voter list, known as the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), starting tomorrow. This rigorous exercise, which includes 11 other states, aims to thoroughly re-verify the more than 153.5 million voters across all 403 Assembly constituencies in the state.

According to Election Commission of India (ECI) sources, the voter list for every one of the state's 1,62,462 polling stations will be scrutinized. The list will be frozen starting at 12 midnight tonight to facilitate the revision.
