Lucknow, April 23 -- The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad has arrested two individuals accused of being involved in a conspiracy to carry out terrorist activities in India with alleged links to Pakistan-based handlers.

According to officials, intelligence inputs indicated that Pakistani gangsters, allegedly acting on the directions of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), were attempting to destabilize India's sovereignty, unity, and internal security. These operatives were reportedly using social media platforms such as Instagram to radicalize Indian youth, recruit them into sleeper cells, and incite them to carry out attacks.
