Mathura, April 15 -- An incident of alleged arson has been reported at a Balaji Temple ashram in Paitha village under the Govardhan police station area, sparking anger among local residents.
According to reports, a dispute broke out a few days ago between an ashram-related group and a local youth after he was allegedly stopped from fishing in a nearby pond. The confrontation escalated, and in a fit of rage, the youth reportedly set fire to the ashram premises.
The fire caused damage to items stored inside the ashram. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed at the site, clearly showing the accused setting the fire.
