Prayagraj, Aug. 18 -- The Allahabad High Court has taken a suo motu public interest litigation (PIL) regarding the waterlogging in Prayagraj on Tuesday.

A division bench of Justices Ajit Kumar and Garima Prasad has taken cognizance.

The High Court has issued instructions to the district administration.

Continuous rain on Tuesday caused severe waterlogging in the city, which caused difficulties for judges in reaching the court and delayed the start of court hearings. Based on this, the court has taken suo motu cognizance of the matter.
