Lucknow, Oct. 26 -- Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav today alleged that farmers in Uttar Pradesh are constantly grappling with a fertilizer crisis under the BJP government, which is now hindering the sowing of wheat and other rabi crops.
"After paddy, fertilizers for sowing wheat and other crops are now unavailable. Farmers are running from pillar to post for fertilizers like DAP, NPK, and others," he claimed in a statement here on Sunday.
Akhilesh Yadav stated that long lines of farmers are forming at cooperative societies in Lakhimpur Kheri, Mahoba, Fatehpur, Badaun, Amethi, and other districts.
