Sambhal, April 16 -- On Thursday, the district administration carried out a major demolition drive in Bichhauli village, removing an Imam Bara and an Eidgah that were allegedly constructed on government land.
The action was taken following an eviction order issued in January by the Tehsildar court regarding disputed land identified as a manure pit area. In compliance with the court's directive, authorities had already begun preparations, forming a special team of revenue officials to oversee the operation.
Around 9:00 AM, an administrative team arrived at the site with four bulldozers and initiated the demolition in the presence of Sub-Divisional Magistrate Nidhi Patel. The structures were gradually brought down as the operation progresse...
