Kaushambi, March 24 -- In a shocking turn of events, a woman who was allegedly murdered-leading to her husband's imprisonment-has been found alive in Delhi with her cousin, police said today.
The case pertains to Alwara village under Mahewa Ghat police station in Kaushambi district.
According to the victim's father-in-law, Yogendra Tiwari, his son Raju Tiwari married Ankita Tiwari, daughter of Sharda Mishra from Tewa village, in 2016. He alleged that Ankita's behaviour had been problematic since the beginning of the marriage, and she frequently stayed at her parental home.
In 2024, Ankita reportedly left for Delhi with her cousin, Ramu alias Sankalp Mishra, but the matter was later resolved through a compromise.
