Lucknow, Aug. 21 -- Uttar Pradesh is ready to take its growing Buddhist tourism ecosystem to a wider global audience, with Japan emerging as a natural partner and Yamanashi potentially serving as an important gateway to Japanese travellers.
Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said this on Friday as the state deepened its tourism engagement with the Japanese prefecture.
The dialogue was held at IGP in Lucknow, two days after the UP Japan Investment Meet in New Delhi and following the delegation's Agra visit on Thursday.
