Jaipur, March 21 -- Unseasonal rains for the past three days at many places in Rajasthan, including the state capital, have brought down the mercury considerably and posed a threat of huge crop damage in some districts.
Several districts also reported hailstorms coupled with light to moderate downpour, triggered by a strong western disturbance (WD), even as weathermen predicted more rains during the next 24 hours at many places.
In Jaipur, it started raining in the wee hours and intermittently continued until forenoon. In the neighbouring town of Sikar, it rained for almost the whole night.
