Hyderabad, April 22 -- Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) organized a lecture-cum-interaction on 'Digital Transformation of Higher Education' on Wednesday at its campus.
Praveen Prakash, IAS (Retd.), Former Principal Secretary of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, attended the event as the keynote speaker.
Prakash highlighted that the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has established the SWAYAM platform to facilitate credit-based online courses. He added that universities are increasingly offering fully online degree programs and have adopted comprehensive learning models using Learning Management Systems (LMS) aligned with UGC guidelines.
