Pune, March 9 -- India is a country enriched with diversity, and unity in diversity is its greatest strength and pride, said Deputy Mayor Parshuram Wadekar speaking at an Iftar party marking the end of the day-long fasting during the ongoing Ramadan month.
He appealed to people from all sections of society to live together harmoniously by sharing in each other's joys and sorrows and participating in festivals and social occasions. The Iftar was organized by the Vishwabhushan Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Cultural Festival Committee.
