Agartala, May 29 -- union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs, Durgadas Uikey, visited the revered Lord Shiva pilgrimage site of Tripura's Unakoti during his two-day tour.

Besides visiting the site, he held a meeting with members of the tribal front of the ruling BJP. Later, he toured the Unakoti site and inspected various developmental projects while participating in departmental meetings across tribal areas of the district.

At the historic pilgrimage site, the minister was captivated by the natural beauty and cultural significance of Unakoti. After offering prayers to Lord Shiva at the foothills, he explored the location for over an hour.
