Karimnagar, June 9 -- Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar laid the foundation stone for a Rs 36.3 crore water improvement project under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme at Nallalabavi in Choppadandi town on Monday.

The initiative aims to provide safe and adequate drinking water to every household in Choppadandi Municipality.

Accompanied by local MLA Medipally Satyam and former MLA Bodige Shobha, the Minister inaugurated the project that includes the construction of a 46.21 km pipeline network, a 1500 KL elevated water reservoir, and water sump facilities. The project is expected to benefit 2,800 households.
