Chandigarh, Sept. 4 -- union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan arrived today in Punjab to review the flood situation in the state.
A three-member Central team has also commenced its three-day assessment visit. The delegation includes Rajesh Gupta, Joint Secretary in the union Home Ministry; K.V. Patel from the Finance Ministry; and Rakesh Kumar from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
On the opening day, the team will inspect flood-hit regions of Gurdaspur and Pathankot.
