Hingoli, Sept. 6 -- : The highly decomposed body of an unidentified man was discovered in roadside bushes in Maharashtra's Hingoli district on Sunday, officials said.
According to officials, the body was found near Jamgavhan village in Kalmanuri tehsil after local authorities received information about the incident around 11.30 am.
Preliminary observations revealed that one of the man's hands had been severed, while multiple injury marks were visible on a leg.
Police believe the body had been lying at the location for nearly four days.
Investigators suspect the victim may have been murdered at another place and the body later abandoned in the Jamgavhan area.
