Chennai, May 14 -- The Tamil Nadu Government headed by Chief Minister and TVK Founder on Thursday launched continuance of one of the two flagship schemes of the previous DMK regime, depositing Rs 1,000 college students, while promising that a similar amount for women household heads under the Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogai (KMUT) scheme will be credited in their bank accounts soon as the government needed some time to restructure the scheme.
