Lucknow, Sept. 19 -- Uttar Pradesh is strengthening the homestay network at the heart of its 'Visit My State' campaign, preparing local hosts to turn rural hospitality, cuisine, crafts and traditions into professionally managed visitor experiences.
Thirty one homestay operators from 14 districts completed a five day training programme at the Manyawar Kanshiram Institute of Tourism Management in Lucknow on Saturday.
Held from September 15 to 19, the programme combined business and hospitality skills with practical exposure to responsible rural tourism.
State Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said, "Under the leadership of CM Yogi, the state government is working to make homestays a bridge between travellers and local communities....
