Chandigarh, June 23 -- Questions have emerged over the future of union Minister of State Ravneet Singh Bittu after the completion of his Rajya Sabha tenure, though constitutional provisions allow him to continue in office for up to six months even without being a member of Parliament.
The discussion gained momentum after union Minister of State George Kurian stepped down following the end of his Rajya Sabha term on June 21. Kurian was not renominated by the BJP for another term to the Upper House. Bittu, whose Rajya Sabha tenure also concluded on the same date, was similarly not renominated.
