Los Angeles, Nov. 25 -- The winners of the 53rd International Emmy Awards were announced, with the United Kingdom emerging as the biggest winner, taking home seven trophies across multiple categories.
ITV Studios' 1980s-set dramedy 'Rivals' clinched the Best Drama award. The series, based on Jilly Cooper's novels, features an ensemble cast including David Tennant, Aidan Turner, Katherine Parkinson, Victoria Smurfit, Alex Hassell, Nafessa Williams, Bella Maclean, Emily Atack, and Danny Dyer.
The Best Comedy award went to 'Ludwig', starring David Mitchell as a puzzle master who assumes the identity of his missing police detective brother to solve the case. Anna Maxwell Martin also stars in the series.
