London, June 21 -- UK Business and Trade Secretary Peter Kyle has rejected media reports that Prime Minister Keir Starmer is planning to resign on Monday.
On Saturday, The Telegraph reported, citing unnamed sources,that allies of Starmer believed he was preparing to step down, possibly as soon as Monday. Kyle dismissed the report in an interview with Sky News, saying he had "no reason to believe" it was accurate and describing it as speculation.
He called such media reports speculation and said Starmer continues to work.
