London, May 31 -- UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper will travel to China on Monday for a three-day official visit and then proceed to India to discuss global issues, including the Strait of Hormuz, the Russia-Ukraine war, and the Ebola outbreak in Africa.
"At the invitation of Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi, UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper will visit China from June 1 to 3," the Chinese Foreign Ministry confirmed said in a statement.
Cooper is expected to hold talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. She will also take part in the 11th China-UK Strategic Dialogue, the spokesperson said.
