Panchkula, July 24 -- Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) has asked farmers and electricity users not to touch power lines, transformers, or other electrical equipment, and not to try fixing faults themselves, warning that doing so can cause serious accidents. Instead, they should use the UHBVN Samast App to file electricity complaints.
A spokesperson for the power company said they have noticed some farmers and consumers trying to fix electrical faults on their own. In some cases, people even climb electricity poles or transformers without proper safety steps, putting themselves at risk of deadly accidents.
The spokesperson asked consumers not to try any repairs on electrical equipment.
