Kampala, Sept. 27 -- The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has parted ways with national women's team head coach Sheryl Ulanda Botes after deciding not to renew her contract.
"Crested Cranes head coach Sheryl Ulanda Botes and the Federation of Uganda Football Associations have mutually agreed not to continue and extend the contract with immediateeffect ending her three-year tenure," the federation said in a statement Sunday.
The decision comes just days before Uganda faces Zambia in the second round of qualifying for the women's football tournament at the 2028 Olympic Games.
