Tirumala, March 19 -- On the auspicious occasion of Telugu New Year day on Thursday, Ugadi Asthanam was held with utmost religious fervour in Tirumala temple.
The presiding deity as well the Utsava Murthies were offered new Vastrams on the occasion.
As a part of Asthanam, Panchanga Sravanam was presented by Vedic scholar in front of Sri Bhu Sameta Sri Malayappa Swamy and Vishvaksena in Bangaru Vakili, a release stated.
Later Harati and Prasadams were offered with which the traditional temple court concluded in a grand manner.
Later, the devotees were allowed for Darshan.
Both the Tirumala Pontiffs, TTD EO M Ravichandra, board members, JEO Health and Education Dr Sharath, CVSO Muralikrishna and other temple officials were also present....
