Thrissur, April 14 -- Senior Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala today asserted that the United Democratic Front (UDF) is poised to come to power in Kerala with a massive majority, citing a strong anti-incumbency wave against the ruling government.
Talking to newspersons here, Chennithala said the people of Kerala are eager for a political change after 10 years of Left rule. He dismissed the claims and projections made by the CPI(M) as "fabricated" and aimed at boosting the morale of party workers.
He attributed the momentum of the UDF campaign to the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, stating that his constant monitoring, strategic direction, and efforts to ensure unity within the Congress and the UDF played a decisive role.
