Mumbai, Nov. 16 -- The Maharashtra government has reconstituted the Balasaheb Thackeray National Memorial Public Trust, reinstating Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray as chairman, marking a significant update to the memorial's administration.

The government resolution formalises an eleven-member governing body with varying tenures.

Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray will serve as Chairman for a five-year term, alongside former minister Subhash Rajaram Desai, who has been appointed Secretary, and former minister Aditya Uddhav Thackeray, who joins as a member for the same duration. BJP MLA Parag Alavani and former MLA Shishir Shinde have been appointed to the trust for a three-year term.
