Pune, Aug. 8 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray has launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his recent meeting with MPs who had broken away from the Thackeray-led Shiv Sena and the Trinamool Congress (TMC), questioning the message behind the interaction at a time when related matters are before the courts.
Speaking at a press conference, Thackeray asked why the Prime Minister met the rebel MPs while court hearings were underway and whether the meeting was intended to send a message to the Supreme Court, union Home Minister Amit Shah or Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
