Mumbai, March 6 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray on Friday slammed the Maharashtra budget presented by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, describing it as a "mirage of development" and questioned the government's financial priorities.
The Chief Minister announced several measures in the budget, including a farm loan waiver of up to 2 lakh rupees, but the Opposition quickly challenged the claims and raised concerns about the state's financial condition.
