Moscow, April 1 (Sputnik/UNI) The United Arab Emirates is preparing to help the United States and its allies open the Strait of Hormuz by force, The Wall Street Journal newspaper reported, citing Arab officials.The UAE is lobbying for a UN Security Council resolution that would authorise such action, the report said on Tuesday, adding that Emirati diplomats have called on the US and European and Asian countries to form a coalition to open the strait by force.The UAE is actively considering its military participation in securing the strait, as well as in mine clearance efforts, the report noted.According to the report, Abu Dhabi believes the US should occupy Iranian-controlled islands in the Strait of Hormuz, including Abu Musa Island.On Feb...
