Abu Dhabi, Feb. 28 -- Issuing a massive defence alert, the UAE Defence Ministry said that it dealt speedily, and "with high efficiency" against Iranian air strikes, and confirmed that no damage had as of yet been reported.

The UAE has also put its armed forces on high alert and ordered operational readiness in case of any further enemy threats.

According to the ministry, debris from intercepted missiles fell in scattered areas of Abu Dhabi, including Saadiyat Island, Khalifa City, Bani Yas, Mohammed bin Zayed City and Al Falah. Authorities confirmed there were no injuries in the affected locations.
