Unnao, March 1 -- Two young people lost their lives in a tragic road accident after a speeding dumper truck ran over their scooter in Unnao, police said on Sunday.
The incident occurred about 50 meters before Jajmau outpost in the Gangaghat police station area on Saturday night. According to police, the collision was so severe that the victims were dragged several meters after getting trapped under the vehicle's wheels. They suffered multiple fractures to their hands, legs, and other body parts, along with critical head injuries. Local residents rushed to help and transported them to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared both dead on arrival.
