New Delhi, June 29 -- Delhi Police on Monday said they have arrested two wanted accused, Rohit Lamba alias Amit alias Mohit, and Ritik Thakur, following an operation by the Najafgarh Police Station team in Dwarka district.
Police said Rohit Lamba sustained a bullet injury to his leg during an alleged exchange of fire while leading officers to the recovery of a concealed firearm. An illegal pistol with a magazine, four live cartridges and three empty cartridges were recovered.
Dwarka DCP Kushal Pal Singh said the operation was part of the district's "No Guns, No Gangs" campaign aimed at cracking down on illegal firearms and organised criminal activity.
