Sheikhpura (Bihar), April 18 -- Two persons were shod dead following a clash over a minor dispute in Akouna village under Sirari police station area late Friday.
Police Superintendent Baliram Kumar Chaudhary said that the incident took place when one group was using a thresher to process wheat. Due to strong easterly winds, chaff began blowing into a nearby house belonging to another group. This led to objections and a demand to remove the thresher, triggering a heated argument.
The situation quickly spiraled out of control, and both sides allegedly opened fire at each other. A 65-year-old Parmeshwar Yadav alias Puna Yadav died on the spot. Another individual, Premraj alias Santosh Yadav (35), sustained serious bullet injuries.
