Chandigarh, April 20 -- The Talwandi Sabo police in Bathinda have registered a criminal case against two Punjab Police personnel and several unidentified individuals for allegedly stealing wheat crop from a 15-acre agricultural field in Gurusar Jagga village.

The accused, identified as Sukhvinder Singh and his wife Veerpal Kaur, both of whom are reportedly posted with the Punjab Police in Mansa, have been booked following a formal complaint filed by the landowner's wife, Akwinder Kaur.

In her complaint, Akwinder Kaur stated that her husband, Amninder Singh, is currently incarcerated in connection with a murder case. The family owns approximately 17 acres of land, and the harvest this year was managed by her brother, Sail Deep Singh. The h...
