Lucknow, Sept. 1 -- In a decisive move against negligence in handling serious crime cases, the Lucknow Police Commissionerate has suspended two officers with immediate effect.
Vibhutikhand Station House Officer (SHO) Sunil Kumar Singh and Summit Building Outpost In-charge Suryasen Kumar Singh have been suspended following a departmental investigation.
The action was taken on the orders of Police Commissioner Amrendra Singh Sengar after a probe conducted by the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) of Vibhutikhand revealed that both officers failed to take concrete and meaningful action in two serious cases registered on August 30, 2025.
